Lisa- you are so right. Even simplest outfit can look absolutely stunning with an eye catching piece of jewelry. My experience tells me it doesn't have to be expensive to look great. Vintage is always a great way to go. Recently my mom gave me some jewelry she no longer wears. One necklace in particular I get many comments about because it is so unusual. It was a gift from a friend in Venezula given to her 33 years ago made from the eye of a Samuro Tree-native to that region.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Anzaldip, I too have a Vintage piece or 2 that belonged to my 96 year old aunt. I get more compliments on that piece. I sadly tossed out the earrings that went along with it , they were clip on, DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE that I did, a great jewelry maker such as Lisa Miller could have whipped those earrings into something fabulous I am certain! I also have a great piece I purchased in a consignment shop for short money & that too is one of my most commented on pieces!
